Our client is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support the successful execution of battery energy storage projects. The role involves assisting with project setup, execution, and handover while ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. This position requires a proactive individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in project setup and execution
- Monitor project site activities and contractor compliance
- Coordinate project meetings and progress reporting
- Ensure Health and Safety compliance on site
- Manage small-scale projects and support Senior Project Managers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management
- 2+ years of relevant experience in renewable energy
- Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office
- Willingness to travel and valid driver’s license
- Preferred:
- SACPCMP certification
- Knowledge of IFC Standards and Health and Safety legislation
