Red Ember Recruitment is looking for a Full Stack Developer for our client based in Johannesburg. As a Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications, leveraging your expertise in both frontend and backend technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize our software solutions for an Application, a mobile gaming platform. Our clients tech stack includes Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Firebase, Cloudflare, and jQuery, among others.
Key Responsibilities:
Frontend Development:
Build responsive user interfaces using Vue 3, React, Vite, and Tailwind CSS or similar.
Manage state effectively for seamless user experience, utilizing JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and OWL Carousel.
Implement client-side routing.
Collaborate with designers to ensure high-quality UI/UX.
Backend Development:
Develop robust backend services using Firebase and Google Cloud Storage to manage game data, user profiles, and leaderboard information.
Implement data models and manage database interactions to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing for frontend applications.
Ensure secure and efficient data transfer between the client and server-side applications, utilizing SSL by Default and Google Cloud Storage.

Integration and management of services and tools.
Tooling and Deployment:
Utilize AWS S3 or similar for scalable storage solutions.
Participate in CI/CD processes to streamline deployment and development workflows.
Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
RequirementsQualifications:
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
Proficiency in frontend technologies.
Strong backend experience.
Familiarity with AWS S3 and cloud-based solutions.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with TypeScript and agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of additional backend technologies or frameworks, such as Cloudflare and Google Cloud.
Familiarity with mobile-specific technologies, such as Mobile Non-Scalable Content and Apple Mobile Web App Capable. (React Native or similar).
Mobile App Store – Google, Apple and Huawei.
Experience with game development frameworks and libraries.
