About the End Client:
The South African National Roads Agency SOC Ltd (SANRAL) is a state-owned entity responsible for managing and maintaining South Africa’s national road network. Established in 1998, SANRAL’s core focus is to enhance the country’s road infrastructure, fostering economic development and ensuring safer, more efficient transport.
SANRAL is at the forefront of integrating technology into traffic management, with its Data Centre in Midrand serving as a hub for the country’s road infrastructure and traffic operations. Kapsch SA partners with SANRAL in supporting the management of national roads, providing vital data center operations and technical support.

Role Requirements:

  • Windows Operating Systems: In-depth knowledge of Windows 10/11 installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Hardware Diagnostics: Extensive experience diagnosing and resolving hardware issues across various devices
  • Networking: Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), Wi-Fi, VPNs, and basic network troubleshooting
  • Active Directory: Advanced knowledge of Active Directory administration, including security best practices and group policy management
  • Microsoft 365/Azure: Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 administration, Azure AD, Intune, and security features

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior-level technical support for Windows operating systems, ensuring optimal performance and security
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware issues across a range of devicWindows Operating Systemses,ensuring min downtime for users
  • Manage and troubleshoot network issues, including VPN connectivity and Wi-Fi configurations
  • Administer and maintain Active Directory, implementing security measures and managing group policies
  • Oversee Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, ensuring efficient operation and security compliance
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to address complex technical challenges and implement improvements
