- Assist with escalations from 2nd line support engineers
- Provide 3rd line datacentre software support
- Preventative maintenance (Patch management)
- Analysis and reporting on system health
- Architect new solutions
- Document implementations and provide SOP’s
Minimum Requirements:
Matric / Grade
Tertiary Qualification – IT Certification / Diploma Degree
Certification in either: MCSE, VCP, CCE, HPE (DC) (end User), DELL (DC) (end user), VMWare, VEAAM
Min 7 years’ experience supporting ITC environments

- Virtualisation: VMware vSphere, MS Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV
- Citrix Virtualisation
- Application Delivery Controllers: F5, Citrix, FortiADC
- Operating Systems: All Microsoft & Linux
- MS infrastructure: Active Director, Exchange, SQL, SCCM
- Backups: Veeam, Backup Exec
- Monitoring: N-Central, SCOM, PRTG, WhatsUp, Solarwinds, Nagios, Quest
- Antivirus: McAfee, ESET, Symantec, Kaspersky
- End User computing
- Storage area network
- Networking
Must have Valid Drivers Licence and own reliable transport for business travel
