  • Maintains Fusion CPG item coding and audits the data ensuring data integrity and quality
  • Recodes new items and allocates products, brand, manufacturer and attributes as per the process
  • Manages the coding of new CPG items which includes the allocation of item descriptions, brand, and manufacturer and item attributes as per the Circana SA standard.
  • Ensures that coding standards are adhered to by Coding Production.
  • Audits data and troubleshoots and corrects errors and inconsistencies as required
  • Identifies issues, inconsistencies and errors and troubleshoots and resolves as applicable.
  • Development of new employees
  • Ensure the adherence of the coding process
  • Train and mentor new team members and involved in the induction training for RISE graduate program
  • Conduct knowledge share sessions with affected coding stakeholders

Management of coding projects

  • Works closely with the Item Coding Team leader in building project plans for large category audits by identifying training, resources and timelines required
  • Assists the team leader on building a project plan and ensures required meetings and knowledge share sessions take place
  • Provide regular feedback to all stakeholders on progress and difficulties encountered.
  • Planning
  • Plans the resources, deadlines and workload for the Coding operations and allocates to team as required.
  • Conducts weekly planning sessions with the team.
  • Troubleshoots data issues and handles coding related IRIS queries
  • Receives communication with regards to issues or inconsistencies identified and investigates and resolves where possible
  • Provide coding support role to Client Service teams and ensures that SysAid queries are handled.
  • Assigns Retailer Commodies to Fusion categories as required.

  • Degree or Associate’s degree
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention-to-detail, while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership Skills
  • 3+ years FMCG experience
  • (Required) Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
