Job description:
You will be working as part of an IT delivery team responsible for the development, configuration and support of various IT business systems. If you have a passion for the more technical side of business analysis with a strong focus on systems, you enjoy working on problems that have a solution based in accounting and mathematics, then this position offers you an opportunity to learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
• Develop business requirement specifications.
• Develop business processes and contribute to system design.
• Develop functional and technical specifications.
• Develop system integration specifications at the data level.
• Analyse and test systems as part of investigations and system changes/upgrades.
• Monitor and improve daily system controls.
• Monitor and ensure business and market data integrity.
• Identify process improvement opportunities.
• Work with the Vendor and IT implementation teams to implement change.
Minimum requirements:
- Relevant degree
- 2 or more years of relevant experience
- Proven ability to solve complex problems
- Financial data analysis skills
- Exposure to programming or scripting
Advantageous requirements:
- Knowledge of market instruments and processes
- Experience with order management or trading systems
- Experience with unit trust fund accounting systems
- SQL and programming skills
