This role combines technical expertise with operational and office management responsibilities. You will play a pivotal role in cost analysis, project scheduling, and workflow optimization while ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations.
The ideal candidate will excel in using tools like MS Project and Excel to manage production schedules and data-driven decisions while ensuring smooth office operations. They should thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and have a proactive, results-driven approach to managing resources and workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Basic HR functions including the processing weekly wages.
- Oversee all office operations and administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Deal with various suppliers and running payments accordingly
- Conduct detailed cost analysis to enhance production efficiency.
- Use MS Project to create and manage project schedules and resource allocation.
- Leverage advanced Excel for data analysis, tracking, and reporting on production metrics.
- Oversee general office management tasks, including administrative duties, record-keeping, and supplier coordination.
- Ensure compliance with Bargaining Council requirements and basic HR functions such as leave management and payroll processing.
- Monitor and optimize operational workflows to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Act as the central point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate production and office needs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in cost analysis, project management, and office operations, ideally within manufacturing or construction.
- Proficiency in MS Project for scheduling and resource planning (essential).
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, and data modeling).
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Minimum of 5 years in a relevant operational or managerial role.
- Familiarity with Bargaining Council agreements (advantageous).
Salary: R20 000 – R25 000 CTC
Working hours:
Monday – Thursday: 7 am – 4.25 pm / Friday: 7 am – 3.20 pm
