The Business Intelligence (BI) Manager will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven
strategies that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency within our food
manufacturing operations. This position is critical for transforming raw data into
actionable insights, fostering business growth, and promoting innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive BI strategy aligned with the company’s
business objectives. - Identify opportunities to leverage data for driving innovation and operational
enhancements. - Supervise the collection, storage, and analysis of data to ensure accuracy and
reliability. - Manage data integration processes, maintaining high standards of data quality
across various sources. - Lead the creation of dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide insights
into critical business metrics. - Perform in-depth analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and areas for
improvement. - Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing BI team.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and professional development within
the team. - Partner with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and
deliver tailored BI solutions. - Collaborate with IT and business leaders to ensure alignment of BI initiatives
with organizational goals. - Oversee BI projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and
adherence to budgets. - Engage with stakeholders to define project scopes, requirements, and
deliverables. - Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations and industry standards.
- Implement and maintain best practices for data governance and security.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree or relevant
certifications (e.g., CBIP, PMP) is highly preferred. - At least 10 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related domain, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Proven experience in the food manufacturing industry or a
similar sector.
