Key Responsibilities
As the Enterprise Data Architect, you will:
- Lead Data Architecture Strategy: Oversee the organisation’s data architecture, define sustainable strategies, and implement new data architecture frameworks.
- Design Scalable Data Solutions: Develop and implement solutions, such as data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes, tailored to the organisation’s business needs.
- Manage Large Data Ecosystems: Build systems capable of handling large volumes of data, supporting storage, processing, and advanced analytics.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Engage with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business objectives and drive innovation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in data architecture, with a proven track record in managing large-scale data systems.
- Expertise in both on-premise and cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with industries handling substantial customer databases is highly advantageous.
Skills & Knowledge
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong foundation in database management, including columnar and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of predictive analytics, data visualization, and unstructured data.
- Proficiency in data modeling, system development life cycles, and diagrammatic representation of data entities and relationships.
- Emerging Technologies:
- Familiarity with established and emerging data technologies, including advanced analytics and machine learning tools.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities.
