We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Principle Automation Engineer-UiPath to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving our company’s digital transformation by creating, designing, developing, and implementing innovative RPA solutions that maximize business efficiencies. This is a permanent role based in Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current business processes in collaboration with business process owners and key stakeholders to identify and evaluate opportunities for automation.
- Translate business requirements and current and future state process designs into automation-ready process flows.
- Collaborate with business architects and business process owners to create and implement automated solutions for business needs.
- Support the planning, prioritization, and implementation of automation solution testing and go-live (operationalization).
- Architect and develop workflow-based solutions or functionality.
- Effectively interact with and influence business stakeholders and external clients.
- Proficient in database query languages (e.g., SQL).
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming languages and scripting (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, .NET).
- Experience in process reengineering and business process analysis.
- Proven experience in Project and Change Management, including IT and UAT management.
- Expertise in RPA Software (e.g., UiPath, BluePrism, WorkFusion).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with web development technologies is preferred.
- Willingness to learn and become an expert in RPA and other automation technologies.
Qualifications:
- A relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
- UiPath Automation Certification (preferred).
- At least 3-5 years of experience with the software development lifecycle and RPA technologies (preferably UiPath), including process reengineering and business process analysis.
- At least 2 years of experience in complex RPA and related automation development.
- At least 2-4 years of professional experience in programming (including scripting/coding), SQL and relational databases, JavaScript, .NET, and application development.
