Business Analyst (10-20 Hours / Week) at Parvana Recruitment

This is a remote position.

What you will be doing:

Collect, organise, and analyse data from various sources to identify trends and insights.
Create and maintain detailed reports, dashboards, and visualisations to present findings effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
Provide recommendations based on data analysis to optimise processes and support strategic decisions.
Investigate and resolve data-related issues, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address operational inefficiencies.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.
Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Identify opportunities for process enhancements and recommend innovative solutions.
Develop and implement data collection systems and strategies to improve data quality and accessibility.

What is needed:

A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial.
Certification in data analytics or business analysis.
3+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a similar analytical role.
Experience working with large datasets and complex systems.
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
Familiarity with statistical analysis and data modeling.
Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies or experience in a project-based environment.
