Key Responsibilities:
- Full SDLC: Manage the end-to-end development lifecycle of MuleSoft projects using the Agile process, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
- API Development: Design and develop APIs using MuleSoft platform components such as API Manager, Cloud Hub, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, and Anypoint Messaging Queue.
- System Integration: Integrate third-party systems, databases, and legacy systems using pre-built and custom MuleSoft connectors to ensure seamless data flow across platforms.
- Security & Access Control: Implement security policies, rate limiting, and access controls using Anypoint API Manager, ensuring robust protection of APIs and data.
- Testing: Write MUnit test cases to validate Mule flows, ensuring quality and reliability in the integration solutions.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor API performance using Anypoint Monitoring and Anypoint Analytics, troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and develop emergency fixes for data integrity issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Documentation: Provide clear and concise technical documentation, including user guides, integration specifications, and deployment instructions for APIs and integration flows.
- Agile Team Participation: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews in an Agile team environment, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to project timelines.
- Deployment: Deploy MuleSoft applications on Cloud Hub, on-premises, or hybrid environments, ensuring efficient and seamless release cycles.
- CI/CD: Leverage CI/CD tools like MS Azure, Jenkins, and/or Maven to automate build and deployment processes, ensuring smooth integration and delivery pipelines.
- Optimization: Continuously optimize APIs and integration flows for scalability and reliability, ensuring systems can handle growing data volumes and traffic efficiently.
- Code Review & Upgrade: Regularly review code to advance application upgrades, extensions, or other necessary developments, ensuring a high standard of code quality.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest features, tools, and best practices in MuleSoft and API development to continually improve integration processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft development, including API development, integrations, and deployment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, Cloud Hub, API Manager, and DataWeave.
- Experience with system integrations involving third-party systems, databases, and legacy systems.
- Experience with MuleSoft connectors, both pre-built and custom.
- Experience implementing security policies, rate limiting, and access controls using Anypoint API Manager.
- Proficiency in MUnit testing for API validation and integration flow testing.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of MuleSoft technology stack and components.
- Proficiency in Java and/or JavaScript for API development.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (MS Azure, Jenkins, Maven).
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and integration concepts.
- Experience with Anypoint Monitoring, Anypoint Analytics, and troubleshooting API performance.
