We are looking for 2 Systems Analyst
- Systems Analyst (Mobile & VAS) – is to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of digital products and services across all channels.
- Systems Analyst (RSE & Store Portal) – is to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the reconciliation of transactions performed between a customer channel and the third-party vendor/supplier.
The incumbent will be responsible for evaluating business requirements and translating them into effective technological solutions, ensuring that software systems and applications meet the functional needs of the organization. This role also involves analyzing and providing guidance on the implementation of technology to support business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of business requirements to translate and build these into technical roadmaps
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure software systems meet business objectives
- Advising on and motivating for the usage of software libraries
- Support integration to inter-dependant systems based on transactions performed and commission due, via high level diagrams and system level documentation.
- Document technical requirements for the provision of a portal for the viewing of transactions
- Document processes for the provision of documentation and reporting such as Recon Workbook and Trial Balances for audit purposes
- Advise on processes for managing exceptions / unmatched transactions
- Assist with drafting user manuals and other documentation related to business processes
- Participate in project planning and management and collaborate with technical teams to implement solutions
- Staying abreast with industry trends and best practices related to technology
Skills and Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science; IS or related technology discipline
- Appropriate Specialist IT Certification is an advantage
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role in retail
- At least 5 years’ experience in product management with demonstrated experience VAS/Mobile/Financial Services products
- Experience in purchase of Prepaid Airtime Products; Single Use Vouchers; Prepaid Electricity; Money Transfer and Ticketing preferred
- Experience of reconciliations of transactions performed between a customer channel and the third-party vendor/supplier
- Strong grasp of UML and proficiency in tools used for project tracking and requirements capture
- Ability to interpret and manage human-readable representations of data such as
- JSON payloads, swagger docs, server-side logs and large CSV file
