Project Manager – Water Infrastructure Projects
A leading infrastructure development company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale water sector projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the installation, maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and upgrades of major mechanical plants and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage water infrastructure projects in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure efficient project implementation.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legal requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- I have a bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil or mechanical).
- Project Management Certification is required.
- Minimum 7 years experience in project management, particularly in the water sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, plant installation, and refurbishment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- An MBA would be beneficial.
