What you will be doing:
- Ensure compliance with regulations by maintaining documentation, handling audits, and addressing potential issues.
- Implement AI solutions to enhance efficiency and stay informed about emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify automation opportunities, monitor technology risks, and develop mitigation plans.
- Manage technology upgrades, replacements, and reporting while ensuring adherence to data protection regulations like POPIA and GDPR.
- Provide technical support to clients, including onboarding and troubleshooting assistance.
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc)
- 3+ years of experience in a technical support or networking position
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security protocols
- Proven experience with compliance audits and risk management
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Following would be a bonus:
- Experience with data protection regulations like POPIA and GDPR
- Knowledge of how IT service management works
- Certifications in relevant areas such as CompTIA or Cisco
