Test Analyst
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Understanding of systems engineering concepts
- The ability to analyse a process from start to finish.
- Requirement review & static analysis
- Analyse Test Scripts for feasibility.
- Technical Test Case creation.
- Reporting Ops and Customer support process and flow
You should be able to do the following:
- Test case creation and Execution
- Basic Test reporting during test execution(SIT and UAT)
- Provide system training to identified super users and business testers
- Plan, organise and support test case creation
- Coordinate test data creation with the developers and other testers
- Track new/changed requirements and ensure these are addressed during testing
- Ensure entry/exit criteria for all test phases are met in time
- Daily monitoring and action of Production tickets coming into ServiceNow/ITSMNext
- Assisting with configuration and monitoring of Prod app performance
- Weekly/monthly reporting dashboard updates on incidents
- Availability to provide OPS support during the holiday season (On rotation/On call)
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- ITPM and AWM methodologies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong ability to understand and interpret Business needs and requirements with the ability to move concepts through to proposal and finally successful implementation.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) with both technical and non-technical colleagues / users.
- Should be willing to deal with (talk to) our customers. In most cases they will be foreign customers and language barriers might exist.
- Ability to work as part of a team, inter-dependant as well as independently and submit deliverables on time and in excellent quality. SELF STARTER.
- Above board work ethics – this is of utmost importance.
- Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project.
- Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required.
