• Prepare and submit regulatory reports as required by local, national, and international regulatory authorities (e.g. PRA, FCA, SEC, EBA).
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and deadlines for financial reporting.

    Reporting Systems and Tools:
  • Use financial reporting tools, spreadsheets, and regulatory reporting platforms (e.g., Axiom, Excel, or proprietary systems) to generate reports.
  • Recommend improvements to reporting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    Documentation and Record Keeping:
  • Maintain comprehensive records of regulatory reports, communications with regulators, and internal approvals.

  • Document procedures, controls, and methodologies related to regulatory reporting to ensure transparency and consistency.
    Compliance Monitoring and Risk Management:

  • Support internal compliance reviews and risk assessments by providing accurate regulatory data and analysis.
  • Assist in identifying potential compliance risks and areas for improvement in reporting processes.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in regulations and industry best practices related to regulatory reporting.
    Stakeholder Liaison:
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders such as Finance, Legal, and Risk departments to gather information and ensure consistent compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and consultants on reporting requirements.
    Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Participate in cross-departmental projects related to regulatory reporting and compliance.
    Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to use pivot tables and work with advanced statistical databases and methods.
  • Familiarity with AML issues concerning onboarding new customers.
  • Knowledge of FICA processes, ABC policies, AML policies, PEP policies, RMCP models, and FATCA policies.
    Skills & Qualifications:
    Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, Business, Economics, or a related field.
    Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in regulatory reporting, financial reporting, or compliance, preferably in the banking, insurance, or financial services sectors.

  • Experience with basic regulatory frameworks.
    Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools (e.g., Access, Power BI).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Problem-solving skills and ability to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
