We are currently seeking a skilled .NET Developer with extensive experience to lead the
transition of a legacy system to modern technologies.
This is a brand-new project with exciting opportunities ahead!
Technical Skills:
We’re looking for a developer with 5-7 years of commercial development experience in enterprise systems and a strong mix of the following technologies:

5+ years working with MVC, .NET Framework 4.8, and jQuery (This is a Hard Requirement)

Bonus: Experience with Telerik / DevExpress is highly advantageous
- Experience with importing and processing documents, such as Excel files, will be an added
advantage.
- .NET Core Web API and Back-End Development
- MS SQL Optimization Knowledge
- Software Security Knowledge (Authentication & Authorization)
- Data Encryption and Obfuscation (Data at Rest)
- JavaScript Frameworks: Angular, React, or [URL Removed]
- Azure Cloud Storage
- Azure MS SQL
- CICD Pipelines (Azure) And GIT
Behavioural Skills:
This is a consulting role, requiring:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The confidence to engage directly with clients and guide decision-making
- The ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
- Providing constructive feedback and conducting code reviews
- Staying updated with new technologies and best practices
- Sharing knowledge and fostering a positive team culture
- Understanding the impact of code on user experience and performance
Position details:
- Based in Durban, KZN, South Africa
- Hybrid work model: Work from home and KC Office is available within the local area
- The client is located in Durban, so on-site visits are required from time to time
