We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Intermediate Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in process automation, workflows, business requirements gathering, JAD (Joint Application Development) sessions, integration and migration, software development projects, and business process analysis. The Business Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and business users to ensure the successful implementation of business solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and process workflows.
- Process Automation & Workflows: Analyze and improve business processes through automation and workflow optimization.
- JAD Facilitation: Organize and lead Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions to gather requirements, define project scope, and create actionable plans.
- Integration & Migration: Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure seamless system integration and data migration in software development projects.
- Software Development Lifecycle Support: Participate in software development projects by translating business needs into functional specifications and ensuring requirements are met during development and testing.
- Business Process Analysis: Identify gaps in current business processes, recommend improvements, and define solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with business users, technical teams, and project managers to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Testing & Validation: Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation of implemented solutions to ensure they meet business needs.
- Risk & Impact Assessment: Conduct impact analysis for business changes and recommend mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4+ Years of experience as a Business Analyst in process automation, system integration, migration, and business process improvement.
- Strong understanding of business process automation tools and workflow management solutions.
- Experience in system integration and migration projects.
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Familiarity with software development projects and SDLC.
- Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar).
