ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the development team, you will be responsible for the development of new products, enhancements to our existing range of products and technical support to customers.
- Development of new products within the Financial Services Industry
- Enhancements of the company’s current product range
- Technical support to users – both internal and external to the company
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
As an applicant you will need a Degree in Information Systems (Software Development) or similar at a credited institution.
EXPERIENCE
Experience as a Software developer will be in your favor.
PREFERRED SKILLS – TECHNICAL - Programming with C# and/or VB.Net
- SQL server programming
- Web services and API’s
- Knowledge / experience with Azure will be an advantage
- Exposure to the financial services industry will be to your benefit
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite products
- General knowledge of databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server
PERSONAL SKILLS - Ability to work independently
- Ability to manage pressure
- Strong leadership skills
- Initiative-taking and driven
- Ability to run with a project – be responsible and accountable
- Lead from the front; not just follow
- Good people skills – candidate needs to work directly with clients
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
ADDITIONAL NOTES
The chosen candidate will undergo a 3-month probationary period before being offered a permanent position.
