ENVIRONMENT:
A forward-thinking organization in the Fast-Food Space seeks a proactive IT Technician to provide technical support, maintain IT systems, and ensure seamless operations across hardware, software, and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience in IT support, and the ability to manage IT inventory and licenses. The role involves resolving technical issues, assisting staff, and contributing to the stability and efficiency of IT systems. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, N+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, or equivalent are advantageous. Candidates should have 1-3 years of work experience in a similar role.
DUTIES:
Technical Support & Troubleshooting –
- Provide first- and second-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Assist with IT queries, including password resets, software installations, and access permissions.
System Installation & Maintenance –
- Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and servers.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
Network Management –
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures.
Hardware & Software Management –
Manage IT inventory, including tracking hardware, software, and licenses.
Perform hardware repairs or coordinate with external vendors for repairs when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, N+, Microsoft Certified Professional will be beneficial.
- 1-3 Years work experience in a similar role.
