Our client is seeking a skilled Business Analyst with experience in the transport and logistics industry. The ideal candidate will analyze, interpret, and communicate complex data to support the optimization of their logistics operations. This role involves identifying areas for improvement, developing solutions, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to transport and logistics operation
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement within logistics processes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and IT, to gather requirements and ensure alignment of logistics strategies with overall business objectives.
- System Implementation and Optimization: Support the implementation of logistics management systems and technologies.
RequirementsEducation:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Six Sigma) is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the transport and logistics industry.
- Proven track record of successfully leading process improvement and system optimization projects.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with logistics management systems (e.g., TMS, WMS).
- Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
