We are looking for a Product System Specialist (Loan Management) to join our financial services client based in Sandton for a 6-months contract role.
What you will be doing:
We are seeking a Product System Specialist (Loan Management) to implement, support, and enhance the technology stack used for structured lending products within Corporate & Investment division, with a specific focus on Loan IQ.

  • Support and maintain the Loan IQ system and related technology stack to ensure seamless operations.
  • Train users on Loan IQ, providing training sessions and developing user manuals to enhance stakeholder knowledge.
  • Facilitate the operationalization of system and process changes by delivering effective training and support.
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive the Lending Middle Office strategic goals through technology solutions, ensuring clear accountability and decision-making.
  • Stay up to date with industry advancements to foster personal and professional growth.
  • Identify opportunities for technology improvements and efficiencies to enhance business value.
  • Optimize system usage by managing relevant licenses, implementing enhancements, and upgrading the Loan IQ platform.
  • Streamline and automate processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to process design by providing operational insights and feasibility assessments.
  • Manage demand for solutions and enhancements through ongoing planning, prioritization, and communication.
  • Ensure high development quality by collaborating with technical teams and defining well-scoped initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, serving as the primary contact for system-related inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external governance requirements, including risk monitoring and reporting.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with system, process, and operational changes.
  • Effectively manage resources by influencing and inspiring teams to deliver within agreed timelines.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of user experience with Loan IQ.
  • At least 2 years of subject matter expertise and support experience with Loan IQ and structured lending products.
  • Strong experience in corporate or investment banking, with a deep understanding of loan products and financial systems.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified, SQL Server certifications, ACAMS for anti-money laundering) are a plus.
