Our client is looking for a Cost/Commercial Analyst to join their growing team.
Reporting to the Divisional Executive, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting the Divisional Executive with cost and sales analysis and reports
- Preparing forecasting estimates
- Preparing and analysing various monthly Sales Reports and Sales Estimates
- Preparing costings and maintaining all costing data on the system
- Producing month end schedules and reports on various costs, margins, stock holdings, etc.
- Working closely with production, planner and sales
- Preparing and ensuring continuous improvements on key management statistics in the business
- Assisting the Divisional Executive with preparing annual budgets
- Assisting the Divisional Executive and Team with ad hoc assignments
Requirements:
- B.Com/B.Compt degree (with accounting subjects) or completed CIMA
- B.Com Honours (Finance or Accounting Honours) advantageous
- Minimum 2 years work experience in a cost accounting role
- Manufacturing management accounting experience will be advantageous
- SAP experience will be beneficial
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft office are essential
