We are looking for a detail-oriented IT Administrator dedicated to maintaining and optimizing IT infrastructure. Skilled in troubleshooting, network administration, and system security to ensure seamless operations. Passionate about problem-solving and delivering top-tier technical support.

What you’ll do:

  • Preparation of Compliance/Accuracy Reports:
  • Generate compliance and accuracy reports by analysing relevant data.
  • Ensure reports are comprehensive and reflect current software and hardware assets.
  • Identify any discrepancies or non-compliance issues.
  • Monitoring Software Consumption and Entitlements:
  • Regularly monitor software usage against entitlements.
  • Identify potential risks related to under or over-licensing.
  • Conduct comparisons and analyse trends in software consumption.
  • Communication of Risks and Remediation Plans:
  • Communicate identified risks promptly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Propose and contribute to the development of remediation plans.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication of risks and proposed actions.
  • Input to Asset Management Process Development:
  • Provide insights and suggestions for improving the asset management process.
  • Participate in discussions and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Creation of Procedural Documentation:
  • Develop procedural documentation and work instructions.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily understandable.
  • Assist in training others on asset management processes and procedures.

Your expertise:

  • 5 years’ experience as a Software/Hardware Asset Management and CMDB maintenance
  • Extended experience in Software asset management, compliancy assessment and monitoring of application consumption
  • Extended experience in Asset management

Qualifications required:

  • Grade 12
  • ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation
  • CSAM (Certified in Software Asset Management)
  • ITIL Practitioner or Higher Certificate

  • Contract Position: 12 Months
  • Location: Midrand
  • Work environment: Onsite (open plan office)
  • Physical Demands: Will be sitting majority of the day doing administrative tasks and occasional moving of computer equipment
  • Travel: Own vehicle essential with valid driver’s license
