WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES?
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
- Lead and mentor junior QA testers, providing guidance and support in testing practices and methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Perform regression, performance, and load testing to validate software functionality and performance.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Minimum Requirements:
WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual and automated testing.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python for test automation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
