We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UX/UI Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business goals into user-centric designs.

Our client specializes in providing remote labor and customer service solutions for a wide range of industries, predominantly from Hospitality, but also covering Insurance, Health Care, Rapid Response, and everything in between. More recently we have moved into SaaS, developing an AI platform called “Skye”, that offers a wide variety of modules from assisting customers with Skye Virtual Agent, to Skye Ticketing, to assisting our own agents with Skye Companion, to name just a few of the modules.
The ideal candidate works methodically under deadlines and proactively supports collaborations across departments.
Our client is a fully remote company. We have people who work from home all around the world, however our company operates on American Eastern Time. Whoever applies for this role needs to be ok working typical business hours of 9am-5pm M-F EST and EDT.
Responsibilities and/or Accountabilities

  • Conduct comprehensive user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing to ascertain user requirements and challenges.
  • Develop detailed wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that adhere to brand specifications and usability standards.
  • Formulate user flows, journey maps, and interaction designs to optimize the overall user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to guarantee precise design implementation and optimal functionality.
  • Refine designs based on user feedback, analytics, and testing outcomes through iterative processes.
  • Maintain a cohesive design system and UI components across all digital products.
  • Remain abreast of industry trends, evolving technologies, and leading practices in UX/UI design.
  • Improve agent efficiency through the refinement of the UX and UI of the Skye Agent assist portal, based on current wireframes.
  • Integrate existing configuration and reporting screens into a streamlined and refined end product, thereby supporting sales objectives.
  • Establish a long-term strategy that empowers customers to independently manage their interactions within the platform.
  • Redesign of public-facing website and product interfaces.
  • Redesigned agent-based tools for call and text handling.
  • Overhauled ticketing system interface.
  • Redesigned internal reporting system.
  • Ensure that all designs are compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA standards

Qualifications and Qualities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-5 years of experience working in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio.
  • Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, user-centered design, and accessibility best practices.
  • Experience with prototyping tools and usability testing.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A portfolio showcasing UX/UI design projects.
