Our client is seeking a skilled Desktop Technician to join their IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting computer systems, networks, and VoIP phone systems. The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities to support end-users effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Set up and configure routers and network devices for optimal performance.
  • Configure and maintain VoIP phone systems to ensure seamless communication.
  • Manage and support Microsoft 365 applications, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide on-site and remote IT support to employees.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of IT assets, configurations, and support requests.
  • Ensure security and compliance of IT systems.
  • Assist with IT-related projects as required.

Required Skills:

  • Networking Support: 4 to 5 years
  • Voip Implementation: 4 to 5 years
  • Microsoft 365: 4 to 5 years
  • Drivers License

Candidate Requirements:

  • Relevant IT certifications CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications.
  • Valid driver’s license (travel may be required for on-site support).
  • Proficiency in router setup and network configuration.
  • Experience with VoIP phone system setup and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 installation, configuration, and support.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
