Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a releated field.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a data science environment, specifically xposure to mining, mineral processing, or supply chain industries.
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with data integration tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory), cloud platforms (Azure), and machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn).
  • Experience with predictive maintenance, time-series forecasting, and statistical analysis.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Integrate and consolidate enterprise data into unified, accessible systems.
  • Develop analytics and dashboards to support finance, supply chain, and engineering teams.
  • Build and deploy machine learning models to predict failures and optimize maintenance.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to answer business questions and support decision-making.
  • Communicate insights through data storytelling to both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Collaborate across departments including IT, operations, and engineering.
  • Contribute to inventory and supply chain analytics initiatives.
