ENVIRONMENT:
DELIVER robust, effective solutions that align with customers’ evolving needs as the next Mid-Senior Full Stack Developer wanted by a dynamic Centurion-based Property Specialist to join its team. You will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing its next-generation Community Management System (CMS). Your responsibilities will span across Frontend and Backend development, contributing significantly to the maturity, scalability, and innovation of products. Applicants will require at least 5 years’ work experience in Full Stack Development with proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js and preferably Angular, [URL Removed] and AWS. You must also have experience working within Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) with the proven ability to deliver software projects effectively.
DUTIES:
- Develop new features and modules for the CMS, handling both Frontend and Backend components.
- Participate in designing scalable and maintainable solutions, aligning with best practices and architectural standards.
- Collaborate closely with other Developers and cross-functional team members, contributing actively to technical discussions and solution design.
- Engage in the full development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
- Work alongside UI/UX Designers and Product Managers, to build user-centric, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, integrating seamlessly with internal systems and third-party services.
- Adhere to robust security practices and ensure compliance standards are met to protect user data.
- Participate in performance optimization efforts to enhance system scalability and reliability.
- Stay informed of emerging technologies and industry trends, bringing insights into the team to improve our development process and product capabilities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing development efficiency and product quality.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Full Stack Development with a demonstrated track record in delivering quality software solutions.
- Solid experience in Full Stack Development with strong skills in Frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and Backend (Node.js) technologies.
- Practical knowledge of modern Frontend frameworks/libraries (Angular preferred) and Backend frameworks (Express.js preferred).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), including deploying and managing applications in cloud environments.
- Experience working within Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with Software Development best practices.
Advantageous –
- AWS Certifications or additional training in Backend Development would be beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and experience with non-relational databases (DynamoDB).
