Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Technical Project Manager to support the planning and delivery of Business Intelligence (BI) projects within our dynamic BI team. This role is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of BI tools such as QlikView, QlikSense, and SQL, and who is eager to grow their project management skills in a technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in scoping technical requirements with clients under the guidance of senior team members.
- Support the coordination and monitoring of BI project tasks, ensuring progress aligns with timelines and expectations.
- Work with BI tools such as QlikView, QlikSense, and SQL to support project implementation and delivery.
- Collaborate with BI Analysts, Data Analysts, and QA Analysts to align on project goals and deliverables.
- Track project milestones and assist in identifying potential risks or issues.
- Facilitate communication between team members and assist with reporting updates to stakeholders.
- Help maintain project documentation, ensuring clarity and transparency across the project lifecycle.
- Support quality assurance activities and testing processes prior to project deployment.
- Contribute to post-implementation support and feedback collection.
- Qualifications and Skills
- 1-2 years of experience in a project coordination, junior project management, or similar technical support role (internship experience may be considered).
- Basic knowledge or experience with BI tools such as QlikView, QlikSense, and SQL.
- An understanding of BI concepts, data workflows, and project delivery lifecycles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and willingness to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a structured project management environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
