RequirementsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day-to-day support of software applications and systems deployed internationally
  • Monitor and debug live systems; provide end-to-end resolution of technical issues
  • Participate in the deployment of new services and software updates
  • Maintain system health via preventative maintenance and proactive monitoring
  • Document issues, resolutions, and knowledgebase updates
  • Participate in 24/7 standby rotations and after-hours activities when required
  • Ensure clear, professional communication with internal teams and clients
  • Contribute to team deliverables and knowledge sharing

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related technical field
  • 2–5 years experience in a software support, application support, or systems engineering role
  • Solid understanding of databases, Linux-based systems, and technical troubleshooting
  • Certifications in Oracle, Linux, or APEX will be an advantage
  • Proven experience working in production support or customer-facing environments preferred

KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS (Non-Negotiable)

  • Strong SQL (PL/SQL highly advantageous)
  • Strong Linux skills (command-line proficiency essential)
  • Bash scripting advantageous
  • Oracle APEX experience beneficial
  • Ability to troubleshoot using database procedures and packages
  • Understanding of SDLC and system monitoring
