Our client, an ISP specializing in providing INTERNET, VOICE and HOSTING solutions, is seeking a permanent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Support Desk Technician based in Umhlanga, Durban
Duties and Responsibilities
- Answering support phone calls and emails
- Managing a ticketing system and updating customers until their issues are fully resolved
- Providing remote support and troubleshooting connectivity issues
- Proactive monitoring of connectivity to identify those in need of assistance
- Router and VOIP setup/configuration
- Must be able to work well within a team environment and manage deadlines
- The role requires working on rotational shifts, including weekends
- Previous experience in networking and IT support will be an advantage
- A driver’s license and your own vehicle will be an advantage
