Our client, an ISP specializing in providing INTERNET, VOICE and HOSTING solutions, is seeking a permanent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Support Desk Technician based in Umhlanga, Durban

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answering support phone calls and emails
  • Managing a ticketing system and updating customers until their issues are fully resolved
  • Providing remote support and troubleshooting connectivity issues
  • Proactive monitoring of connectivity to identify those in need of assistance
  • Router and VOIP setup/configuration
  • Must be able to work well within a team environment and manage deadlines
  • The role requires working on rotational shifts, including weekends
  • Previous experience in networking and IT support will be an advantage
  • A driver’s license and your own vehicle will be an advantage
