Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join their team in Cape Town. This is an on-site role best suited for a candidate with a strong foundation in DevOps practices, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure. In addition to the listed responsibilities, experience with Rust, AI integration, and social media API integration is essential.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in a DevOps role with hands-on experience in automation and infrastructure management
- Expertise in Bitbucket Pipelines and Jenkins
- Advanced Terraform and AWS proficiency
- Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with scripting (Bash, Python, or Groovy)
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows
- Solid understanding of cloud security best practices
- Experience integrating AI technologies and social media APIs (required)
- Proficiency in Rust (required)
