We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux System Administrator who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys working hands-on with critical infrastructure. You will play a key role in maintaining system reliability, performance, and security across enterprise-grade environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Install, configure, and manage Linux operating systems across physical and virtual environments
 - Perform regular system maintenance, including patching and OS upgrades to ensure stability and security
 - Create and manage system backups, ensuring disaster recovery readiness
 - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize server health
 - Provide technical support and mentorship to internal teams
 - Implement system security hardening and ensure compliance with IT security standards
 - Manage LVM, filesystems, and storage configurations
 - Conduct OS vulnerability assessments and drive remediation efforts
 - Handle installation and maintenance of server hardware (physical and virtual)
 - Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement, support, and issue resolution
 
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Linux systems administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu or similar)
 - Proficiency in patch management, OS upgrades, and kernel-level troubleshooting
 - Solid understanding of system security and hardening practices
 - Experience with LVM and filesystem configuration
 - Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and remediation workflows
 - Knowledge of server hardware installation and troubleshooting
 - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle critical issues independently
 - Strong communication and vendor management capabilities
 
Good to Have
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, or Chef)
 - Scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.) for system automation
 - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
 - Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
