One of our clients is looking for a versatile Data Engineer / Data Scientist to drive data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will transform raw data from diverse sources (web, social, internal systems) into actionable intelligence.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience
- Education: A relevant degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics)
- Technical Stack: Programming: Strong Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch).
- Query Languages: Expertise in latest SQL dialects (e.g., T-SQL, PostgreSQL) and experience with NoSQL.
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with latest Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, ML) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (BigQuery, Dataflow, Vertex AI).
- BI Tools: Extensive experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio for dashboarding.
- Data Technologies: Understanding of data warehousing/lake concepts.
- Project Experience: Proven track record of completed data engineering/science projects, specifically involving data from websites, social media, and internal systems, and leveraging cloud platforms.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities; capable of translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
