Our Client, an established and leading organisation, is looking for an Automation Tester. This role is in a collaborative environment where quality forms part of the design. You’d be responsible for building and maintaining automation for front-end, back-end, and API testing, while also contributing to continuous improvement of test processes. In addition, this role will be ideal for someone who enjoys improving quality across complex systems and building scalable test frameworks.
Some key focus areas:
- Develop and run automated test scripts across UI, back-end, and APIs
- Help ensure broad test coverage for critical features and flows
- Prioritise scenarios, design execution plans, and document procedures clearly
- Maintain and evolve test automation frameworks fit for purpose
- Track and report bugs, risks, and coverage gaps with care and clarity
- Work hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, especially using Azure DevOps
- Build and manage test data, prepare test cases, and support both manual and automated test cycles
- Partner with developers and QA colleagues to find smart, reliable solutions
- Stay engaged with tools, trends, and best practices that improve software quality
Requirements:
- A relevant Testing certificate/certification
- At least 5 years’ Testing experience (manual and automated testing – collective)
- Experience working in CI/CD environments
- A background in test design, reporting, and scripting is expected, along with a strong sense of ownership
- Financial (or similar) industry experience preferred
