About our client:

What you will be doing:

  • Work closely with Finance stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyse business challenges, objectives, and requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for IT development teams and collaborate to design and validate effective solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and other sessions to gather requirements and build strong relationships with both internal and external parties.
  • Develop user stories, process flows, and other documentation to guide project execution, ensuring alignment between intent and implementation.
  • Assist in preparing business cases and cost-benefit analyses to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Support testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure all solutions meet IT governance and financial regulatory standards.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and third-party providers to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Provide training and support to end users on new systems and processes to ensure successful adoption.

What our client is looking for:

  • A relevant tertiary degree would be ideal (Business, IT, Finance, etc.)
  • Relevant certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analysis role, specifically within finance or a related domain.
  • Experience in private equity, asset management, or financial services is required, with a strong understanding of financial operations and fund structures.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar tools, and proficiency in requirements-gathering techniques.
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to model and document complex business processes.
  • Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of enterprise financial systems, data flows, and accounting principles.

Contract Duration:

  • 12 month contract with a good chance of renewal / going permanent
