Role Summary
To liaise with Commercial Divisions to create, analyze and implement customer category assortment strategies (assortment structure & ranges), and to assist in the category range optimization.
Minimum Requirements
Relevant Post graduate degree or diploma.
Advanced excel skills is essential.
Category Management/assortment experience.
Specialized knowledge of Assortment Architectures.
Blue Yonder / DotActive Assortment Optimization knowledge is an added advantage.
SAP Merchandise knowledge is an added advantage.
In-store retail experience is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Run category range, cluster & store performance reports weekly & share / review with buyers with a focus on managing waste.
Assess impacts of any resulting cluster moves or range changes.
Assist and provide input on category ranging decisions for determined assortments/clusters to the category buyer.
Execute and agreed range and / or assortment changes.
Create category assortment analysis projects for various categories using the relevant assortment software.
Support and inform range optimisation opportunities, interpreting available data.
Maintain high quality article, assortment, listing, and relevant vendor master data.
