Responsibilities:
- Network Design and Implementation: Design and deploy robust networking solutions that meet the business’s scalability, performance, and security requirements.
- Maintenance and Optimization: Regularly assess network performance, troubleshoot complex network issues, and ensure continuous network availability.
- Security Management: Implement and manage network security tools and protocols, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Project Management: Lead network-related projects from conception through to completion, including planning, execution, and resource allocation.
- Capacity Planning: Analyze and predict network growth trends to ensure infrastructure scalability and performance.
- Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor junior network engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate with vendors to procure network hardware and software solutions that align with business objectives.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation for network architectures, configurations, processes, and compliance records.
Qualifications | Experience |
3 years Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field | Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering with at least 3 years in a senior role. |
