Microsoft Azure users might experience delays due to cable cuts in the Red Sea.
Microsoft states that, starting yesterday (6 September 2025), network traffic traversing through the Middle East may experience increased latency due to undersea fiber cuts in the Red Sea.
It ass that network traffic has not been interrupted as Microsoft has rerouted it through alternate network paths.
But it does warn of higher latency on some traffic that previously traversed through the Middle East.
Other network routes are not affected.
