Role description:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Junior Project Manager to join our team and lead the successful
planning, execution, and delivery of software implementation projects. As a Junior Project Manager, you will collaborate
with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure the seamless deployment of our software
solutions.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project management efforts, from project initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and budget.
  • Collaborate with clients to define project requirements, objectives, and success criteria, ensuring a clear understanding of their needs.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project kick-off meetings, status updates, and regular communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with software developers, business analysts, and quality assurance teams to ensure deliverables meet client specifications.
  • Facilitate the resolution of issues, conflicts, and challenges that may arise during project execution.
  • Provide timely and accurate project status reports, ensuring stakeholders are informed about project milestones, risks, and achievements.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are managed and exceeded throughout the project.
  • Ensure smooth communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to software implementation and project management.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Desired Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Junior Project Manager
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies
  • Familiarity with Sales Performance Management (SPM)
  • Knowledge of software solutions is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to changing project requirements
  • Strong analytical and strong abilities to adapt address complex project challenges
