Junior position – suitable for a Candidate with 1 year of relevant experience. Basic knowledge and own transport required. Based in or near the Upper Highway Area.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT support queries
  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Diagnose and resolve basic technical problems
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems
  • Document and track issues, resolutions, and updates in the helpdesk ticketing system
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures
  • Perform onboarding and off boarding of users, including account creation, access provisioning, and deactivation
  • Support Microsoft technologies, including Windows, Office 365, Teams, and Outlook
  • Apply basic knowledge of firewalls, switches, and access points to resolve network-related problems
  • Meet SLA response times for priority tickets

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles
  • Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, and common software applications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
  • Basic understanding of firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Friendly, professional, and able to communicate effectively with clients
  • Driver’s license and own vehicle
  • Based in or near the Upper Highway area
