We are looking for a Business Data Analyst tto join our financial services client based in Sandton for a 12-months contract role.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Data Analyst to join our client. This role is ideal for an analytical, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about process improvement, data insights, and driving business efficiency.
What you will be doing:
- Collaboratively define, review, maintain, and improve business analysis and process engineering standards, practices, methods, and techniques.
- Create, maintain, and continuously enhance a collection of company and industry best practices for business analysis/process engineering.
- Develop and refine business analysis/process engineering artefacts aligned with gold standards.
- Conduct market research, benchmarking, and feasibility studies to improve business processes and skill sets.
- Translate data into meaningful insights and support decision-making through extensive reporting.
What we are looking for:
- Completed BSc / IT degree or other relevant qualification in a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience as a Business Data Analyst.
- Strong background in system integration using different technologies.
- Proven ability in data analytics and insights generation.
- Extensive reporting experience with attention to accuracy and clarity.
- Solid knowledge of process engineering/analysis methodologies.
- Experience in SharePoint development.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Advantageous experience:
- Experience in banking/financial services.
- Exposure to data engineering or data science projects.
- Knowledge of ARIS, Celonis, or other process mining tools.
