Kgomotso Lebele has been appointed as the new country MD for Accenture in South Africa.
Lebele takes over from Vukani Mngxati, who is leaving Accenture to pursue personal interests.
“Lebele brings a deep understanding of the local market and a proven track record of delivering measurable impact for our clients through innovation and technology,” says Shaheen Sayed, head of Accenture in the UK, Ireland and Africa.
“He has consistently helped organisations embrace change, unlock value, and reimagine what’s possible. As our leader in Africa, he is well positioned to guide our clients across the continent on their reinvention journeys – harnessing the power of digital, data, cloud, and AI to accelerate growth, drive competitiveness, and build long-term resilience.
“Under his leadership, we are confident that Accenture will continue to deliver 360° value and help shape a more sustainable and inclusive future for our clients, people, and communities.”
Lebele comments: “I sincerely acknowledge Vukani’s leadership and the significant contributions he has made over the years, which have strengthened Accenture’s role as a trusted partner and a catalyst for meaningful impact across Africa.
“I am privileged to take on this role and continue building on this solid foundation. Moving forward, my focus will be on enabling organisations to accelerate their growth through advanced technologies, while fostering innovation and nurturing our talent. Together with our people, we are committed to delivering measurable results for clients, enhancing business resilience, and driving sustainable, inclusive growth throughout the continent.”
