The Role: FP&A Analyst

This is a high-impact opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to launch their FP&A career within a globally integrated finance function. As FP&A Analyst, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to multi-currency reporting, contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes, and collaborate directly with business leaders. The role has a clear progression path to Senior FP&A Analyst within 12-18 months, offering long-term career growth and learning in a dynamic, mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1-3 years of experience in finance or FP&A functions required
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across the group
  • Support board pack preparation and management reporting
  • Maintain and manage Power BI dashboards for business insights
  • Develop financial models across P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet
  • Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decisions
  • Identify and implement reporting process improvements and automation
  • Partner with non-finance and commercial teams to explain financials and influence decisions

About You

  • 1-3 years of experience in FP&A or financial roles
  • Newly qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CA(SA), CPA or equivalent)
  • Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements and Excel modelling
  • Experience using Power BI or other BI tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, able to present to senior leadership
  • Confident working with international businesses and stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a drive for automation and process improvement
  • Based in Cape Town, available on short notice, and comfortable working UK hours (no accent requirement)
