Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate raw data into clear business insights and visualizations.
  • Apply telecommunications/NOC knowledge (fault management, SLA adherence, MTTR).
  • Solve operational problems using quantitative analysis.
  • Automate reporting and streamline data processes.
  • Collaborate with technical (NOC engineers) and non-technical teams (Field Ops, Management).

Core Competencies & Experience:

  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and analysis.
  • Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, or similar; advanced Excel.
  • Experience with Python or R for automation/analysis.
  • Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and ETL processes.
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Data Analyst in telecoms or related industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science.

KPIs:

  • Accuracy and timeliness of reports.
  • Improved network uptime and reduced MTTR.
  • Identification of operational efficiencies and cost savings.
  • Effectiveness of dashboards in enabling decision-making.

Impact & Scope:

  • High influence across the organization, affecting NOC and Field Ops performance.
  • Medium strategic impact through predictive analytics and CAPEX recommendations.
  • High operational accountability-directly affects network availability and customer service.
  • Manages significant risks including financial loss and reputational impact.
