Intermediate RPA Developer — Pretoria (Exciting Opportunity!)

We’re looking for an Intermediate RPA Developer who combines technical craft, process thinking and a taste for continual improvement.
RequirementsWhat you’ll do
- Analyse business processes and identify automation opportunities using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Work with business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- Design, develop, test and deploy RPA bots (Power Automate/Desktop) in line with SARS governance, security and privacy standards.
- Maintain, monitor and optimise bots to ensure reliable performance — troubleshoot and resolve incidents quickly.
- Document automation solutions, create handover material and train/support end users and stakeholders.
- Ensure all solutions comply with data privacy, cybersecurity and internal control policies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and the RPA Centre of Excellence — recommend and implement process and system improvements.
- Use your technical expertise to propose tactical solutions and help institutionalise process initiatives.
- Ensure solutions support financial accuracy, quality and efficient service delivery.
Must-have experience & qualifications
- Relevant bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Information Systems or related).
- 4–6 years’ software development experience — including at least 2 years in RPA development and ~3 years at a specialist level.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Automate RPA Developer Associate.
- Hands-on with Power Platform: Power Automate / Power Apps / AI Builder / Power Virtual Agents.
- Experience with Microsoft Dataverse and the .NET Framework.
- Scripting experience: VBScript, JavaScript.
- Ability to design scalable, secure automation solutions.
- Familiarity with AI/ML integrations is a plus.
- Strong understanding of business analysis and process mapping.
