Minimum Requirements
BSc Food Science Degree
3+ years gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) experience – analysing chemical composition of flavours and there application thereof with a strong understand of different columns used in GC-MS and ability to operate and maintain the GC-MS, ensuring quality standards are met in the matching of flavours.

Overview of duties
Manage the GC-MS operational functions, troubleshoot instrument issues, identify compounds, understand flavour chemistry, solve analytical problems
Analyse chemical composition of flavours.
Liaise with technical teams, sales representatives and procurement.
Attention to detail and identify opportunities to improve quality and turnaround time.
Provide excellent service and quality standards.
Adhere to laboratory practices and follow safety guidelines.
Prepare detailed reports on analytical findings and maintain accurate records of all analyses.
Responsible for instrumentation maintenance.
