Multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy would like to enhance their project management and project controls capability, offering clients comprehensive support alongside our technical owner’s engineering services.

They are looking for a project manager with broad, end-to-end project experience—including stakeholder engagement, human and integration management, scope, risk, cost, scheduling, procurement, communication, design, construction oversight, health & safety, quality, and environmental management.
Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, (a master’s degree is advantageous).
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, CEM, SACPCMP, or equivalent/accredited credentials.
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector, including wind, solar, transmission, and distribution projects within the built environment.
  • Strong technical understanding of the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project execution plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the Client and internal teams.
  • Coordinate and integrate technical activities to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet design standards, regulatory requirements, environmental obligations, and permitting conditions.
  • Identify project risks and develop robust mitigation strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government entities, communities, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality services and implement effective quality-control measures.
  • Monitor, track, and report project progress to senior management and stakeholders.
